Allscan Calibration Report – Nickel Ore

The purpose of this report is to provide information on the process and results from the calibration of the Allscan elemental analyser installed at Colombia.

COMILOG – Response of Manganese Ore to through belt PGNAA

Four samples of COMILOG Manganese ore (labelled Samples 1 to 4) were tested in the RTI AllScan test rig at Mackay, Australia, with the purpose of determining how accurately PGNAA technology could determine elemental composition of important elemental components of the Manganese ore (typically Mn, SiO2, Al2O3, Fe, P and K2O).

Copper Ore – Response to through belt PGNAA analysis

The ability to quickly determine copper assay to high accuracy in a PGNAA gauge is a difficult technical challenge due to the proximity of peaks in gamma energy for copper to those of other common elements like iron and aluminium, and limitations on neutron flux available to a through belt gauge.

Ilmenite Response to the RTI Allscan Through Belt PGNAA Analyser

Four samples of Ilmenite were presented for elemental analysis using the RTI Allscan PGNAA through belt test rig. The test was a preliminary one to demonstrate capability and measurement resolution for this application.

Iron Ore Sample Mackay Test Rig & Field Running data Measurement Results

The purpose of this test was to determine the suitability of the AllScan PGNAA Elemental analyser for use on iron ore quality measurement applications.
