RTI recently commissioned the production of a video charting the development of the AllScan Online PGNAA Analyser from concept-to-reality.
The video tells the story of Dr James Asbury’s vision to develop an online PGNAA analyser that was the most accurate, reliable and functional elemental analyser on the market.
“To achieve this”, Dr Asbury said, “I assembled a group of eminent scientists and engineers, and together we embarked on the development of the AllScan Online PGNA Analyser”.
In an effort to identify every major design and performance issue with existing technologies, and importantly to ascertain what design features users wanted in an Elemental Analyser, our team interviewed a broad cross section of users of PGNA Analysers in coal, cement, and iron ore.
The findings from these interviews, combined with our practical experience in the field, formed the basis for development of the AllScan.

Five years of research and testing under wide-ranging operational and environmental conditions, has resulted in an Analyser that boasts ultra-fast electronics, an innovative method of data processing, and sophisticated modelling software. It is a high-performing, high-precision Analyser which delivers accurate results over a wide range of application conditions.
The technology, benefits and features of the AllScan are described in detail in the video which can be viewed here.
